30 day song challenge: Day 4 - A Song That Makes You Sad

Hands down The heart never lies by Mcfly... I’ve not listened to this song recently because its about sticking by someone you love. It reminds me about every past relationship I have had. I always love that person, they break up with me. Most of the times its the best thing.

Oh well, one day I will be able to listen to this song and it will make me happy because I have someone who will stay by me no matter what my flaws are or how many silly arguments we have.

McFly review/favourite songs

I saw McFly on Friday. As in Friday I mean last Friday. April fools day.

You would think that almost 8 years of the band being together they would have split up by now. but they haven’t. I’m strangely happy to admit that I’ll be over the moon happy when they announce their 10 year anniversary. Cue people ripping the hell out of me.

Its weird thinking that 8 years ago I was watching SMTV Live (Oh yeah!) and then CD:UK (I now feel really old) when all of a sudden these four young boys was singing a song about some outcast with five colours in her hair and cooking in the nude. I loved them from day then on. At one point I grew an unhealthy obsession with Tom Fletcher, which was soon nipped in the bud by me having my first boyfriend (Cringe). Tom Fetcher was cute when he was a bit tubby, this was when they first started out… Now he’s all grown up and muscular. All I can say is that I’m pretty sure I can speak for every Tom Fletcher fan when I say: I WANT FAT TOM BACK!!!!!11! Okay. I honestly think that it’s great he’s in shape, he probably has more stamina now he’s fit.

…… Okay, I just realised I’m supposed to be doing a review…..

Opening bands:

1) That Sunday Feeling – Sundays you feel like crap. So were these guys

2) City Stereo – Okay, the lead singer looked like he was harshly smacked with the ugly stick, none the less I thought they were average. They kinda got the atmosphere up.

3) The Struts – Old school 80′s/70′s pop. Lead singer was trying to be like Freddie Mercury and/or David Bowie. He failed with that as he acted/looked like a bit of a prat. Didn’t like them. END OF

To be quite honest, I think the music they played during the interval of each band was really good. A bit of Tinie Tempa, Panic! At The Disco, Katy B, Mark Ronson and David Gueta to name a few. Okay I actually had no idea what other songs were playing but they were really good.

McFly: They made everyone wait for them to come on, and they teased the audience too by playing clips of them saying thank you to their fans and them talking about their website, AKA Super-Cash-Taking-Device… Umm, I mean “Supercity”. Then they came on, Which I thought was pretty average: Curtain falls, the band come out from the right of the stage just as the fireworks stop going off and the they went into the first song. about 45 minutes into the gig and a platform comes down from the ceiling to were (As they did on their last gig at Wembley) they start singing Star Girl. They then start playing Five Colours In Her Hair, half way though they bring out guns…. GUNS PEOPLE!

Okay the word Gun was a bit of a overstatement, more like an empty paintball gun. What they did next I thought was a bit out of order. They had 2 shirts each. And where do they shoot their merch? Everywhere EXCEPT from my side of the arena. Bastards. That’s all I can say… Ahahahahaa I kid.

What I also don’t understand is that everyone was hot and sweaty. SO WHY SET YOUR BAND LOGO ON FIRE AND HAVE FIRE PYROTECHNICS?!?! Honest to god I came out of that gig wet. All over. It wasn’t enjoyable.

However I did have a good time. so I’m going to rate the concert 8/10

NOW! I will give you my Top-Five-Favourite-Songs-That-Probably-Work-Out-As-One-From-Each-Of-McFly’s-Albums

Song 1: Five Colours In Her Hair (Album: Room On The Third Floor)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DXyKyAmVO5c

This is my favourite because this song made me like them, and it’s a happy song. Everyone loves a happy song don’t they? I’m guessing yes. This song also made them who they are today. If all the little children out there didn’t buy this album, they they wouldn’t have beaten the Beetles for “Worlds best selling album by a young person” or something like that, then they wouldnt be around today.

Song 2: Ultraviolet OR I Wanna Hold You (Album: Wonderland)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-GpXcDjwl5s

I know I can’t choose two but I like these two songs so much. One thing you will know about McFly songs are that they always sing about a lady. However, One goes on about the world ending and wanting to have a cuddle and the other is a really random adventure involving darts, a UV light and being intoxicated. Along with a gun and some woman called Mrs Halloween. Also this was during the bands Emo stage, where they all wore suits and had really dark hair to go with their clothes. Tom Fletcher in a suit is hawt.

Song 3: Please Please OR Friday Night OR Star Girl (Album: Motion In The Ocean)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lqJIgWeS4mU

Okay, I’m kinda taking the piss with not deciding on my one favourite song from that album. But to be quite honest I think this was one of their best albums.

Song 4: Corrupted (Album: Radio:Active)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qKME3w0w5zs

Ever since I got the free album from a newspaper that I can’t remember I have liked this song. Forget One For The Radio or Lies, this was one of their edgiest songs that they have ever made.

Song 5: Party Girl (Album: Above The Noise)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yVe–BYGS7g&feature=related

I WANT TO HEAR THIS SONG BEING PLAYED IN THE CLUBS! Seriously, I think its a really good song to get you up and dancing. I didn’t like this song when it first came out cause there is NO guitars whatsoever in the song, however when they performed it live it was really good.

ENJOY THIS BITCHES

Back to uni... And other things

Heres the deal, I have been off on my "Christmas Holiday" for the good part of a month an a half. In that time loads has happened... One really really really good example to do with uni has to be.....
Personal Computer problems
Yes, something that has happened to every student one time in their life. I was a silly girl, firstly because I thought it would never happen to me and secondly because I decided to use good ol' Open Office for one of my essays. Safe to say I did the best part of 1,300 and something words and it saved... Well so I thought. Turns out it took about a minute and a half to save and in this time I cleverly decided to pull my trusty USB drive out (That's what she said..... Omiz would be proud of my In-Your-End-O). Had a bit of a break down, which consisted of tears and swearing, and then decided to start again :(

I really really really don't want to go back. But at the same time I am actually fed up of going out and spending my loan on things I either don't need or spending money on alcohol, most of this money goes towards actually getting home by cab *Le Sigh*
FYI I MADE UP LE SIGH.... NOT THE PEOPLE AT MEMEBASE ¬_¬
And to be quite honest, I miss having random banter with some of the people in my class.

I FUCKING KINDA MET MCFLY!! =D
Okay, so I went to this recording of a television show called "The Cube" and McFly were on there.
Now anyone who knows me know I love them guys, not like a creepy stalker fan girl groupie type...
SO many girls (Stalker fan girl groupie types) were there that made out they knew them. AND to top it all off, they happily delcared that they followed the boys TO THE SHOW HOST!
Me and "The Two Sophs" ripped the crap outta them, like all girls do. Sounds bad but it's true... Just so ya know, all girls have this bitchy gene. If you ever meet a girl and she's all "Ahh I'm like, soooo not the bitchy type" DO NOT TRUST HER!
Anyway, I don't see how you can happy declare to 1,000 plus people, who you don't even know might I add, that you, in actual fact, follow four famous guys. That's just screaming "LOOK AT ME! Laugh at my pathetic life for I have no life! IMPREGNATE ME WITH THE JUICE FROM YOUR LOINS! I have mental issues anyway so that's FINE!"

ANYWAY... I was sitting at the very back of the audience. I turn around and below me, I ONLY SAW TOM FLETCHER! Yes! And then I have a look some more and I see the other three.
Me being the really silly girl that I am, I whisper shout to them "Hey... Hey... OI! HIIIII" Which then makes them all look up and say "Hi" in a mocking fashion. Okay... I'm now thinking to myself: Oh nice, I come to notice you and YOU TAKE THE PISS OUT OF ME! What a bunch of knobs! Or Hahaha LIFE TIME ACHIEVEMENT RIGHT THERE!
Still undecided about what to think =/

I would write more but I has tings to do ;D

Birthday Surprise!!

(Sarcasm INCLUDED)

So, my 2 best best best friends aren't coming out for my birthday now. Okay blow number one.
My Dad who is ill probably wont be over before he goes into hospital to have an operation. Blow number two.
Don't get me wrong, I will be SO SO SO thankful if anyone does turn up tomorrow night.
Right now I'm thinking if I'm that much of a good friend as I thought I was. Or Is it the fact that I pick the wrong people to be friends with?

Maybe God hates me?
Yeah okay, I don't really believe he's doing much, apart from making my life a miniature hell. And fair enough there are worst people out there, but honestly I aint strong enough to deal with this right now. And what's worse is that it's all happening right before my birthday.

Yes. In 2 days time I will be 20 years of age and probably suffering with bipolar disorder!
All in a days work I guess?

So any who, I have been trying to make myself happier.
I listened to good old Mcfly
I listened to Mr Brightside by The Killers
I even listened to The Fray... Got depressed by this band hahaha xD
THEN I had a brainwave. I remembered listening to a lot of Biffy Clyro, Queens Of The Stone Age and Them Crooked Vultures... Off to youtube I go on search for Good music by these bands.
All I can say is THANK YOU OMIZZLE!! For most of yesterday we was listening to these three bands and I have to say that they made me very very happy.

BTW here's my personal favourite. When I look at the title of this song it made me happy just cause it sums me up right now.

Bummer =(

My favourite band McFly have sold out for their UK tour... The date in London anyway. I'm so bummed out. For the past 2 years I've been to their shows (Greatest Hits Tour and the Radio:Active tour)... Yeah I haven't been to the other shows because of money and I had no idea how to get tickets, true story. hahaha.

I don't like the teenes... 12-16 yr olds taking up all the tickets. Screaming. Get out the way, it's all about the older generation. Meaning my age plus. 7 years ago they performed on TV on Top of the Pops and the Saturday Show claimed they would be the next busted... And the news of the world did an article on new bands. From the moment I heard Five Colours In Her Hair I was in love with the music these four blokes made. I even remember me, my sister and our friend recording us singing along to Five Colours In Her Hair.

One good thing though... I'll be seeing Avenged Sevenfold in October.... Then Maybe going Chessington the day after (HALLOWEEN!)

And I just got told McFly will be doing an arena tour at the begining of next year... I prefer area tours =)

Okay I'm happy, moan over
