***UPDATE!!!*** My first *rock* gig went a little like this.....
Okay, so I have realised something.
My last blog was indeed really crap/too informal... So I thought to myself "RE DO IT!!"
So guess what I will be doing...
Also I must be more sarcastic as that is what probably makes me not read-worthy, but giggle-worthy. Oh see what I did there?... Never mind
AmizzleD says: Loveness!
P.S. I might be putting up previous works from college/university. That means some bits and pieces of journalistic work, for example my amazing perspective on being out in my lovely local nightclub/shopping scene Romford and some reviews that I'll randomly do...
Oh about reviews! I might be going out this Friday to Edge and doing a review on 2 bands performances. Edge is this one amazing and local alternative nightclub that I love going to when I can/have money. Also Its my besties birthday so double the fun!

My first *rock* gig went a little like this.....
Saturday 30th October 2010.... THE most important date in my imaginary diary.
Yes, it would seem to any other person as an average Saturday evening. Not for me and my friends. For on this very day we were lucky enough to get hold of the most highly anticipated tickets... To see Avenged Sevenfold and Stone Sour (And "Special Guests" which turned out to be this superband I've never even heard of before called Hell Yeah). Yes, I believe I just "Jizzed in my pants".
I had the most amazing time and after reading some reviews, I have the need to write my own. Because lets face it, I am young and imaginative then most of these late 20 year olds writing for magazines like Kerrang. No offence guys.
If someone asked me what word would I use to describe the Avenged Sevenfold and Stone Sour gig, I would probably have to either come up with a new word or slap them. If anyone who has seen these bands they will know that when these guys come on stage, they deliver. And by deliver I mean spine-tingling-heart-racing-goose-pimpling-head-banging goodness. The gig that was played at Hammersmith Apollo on October 30th was one of the most amazing live performances I've seen, and believe me I thought a McFly gig was awesome.
The first up was a band called Hell Yeah. I had no idea who they were but all I can say is that they did a great job at getting the crowd started. Once HY was off a white sheet was dropped over the stage followed by a comic "Ahhh" from everyone in the audience.
As the set was being changed the atmosphere became edgy, which didn't help from the sound mixers turning the music down for a length of time. This was almost like teasing the crowd which would then erupt by them shouting "Cory" or "Stone Sour" for a short time.
SS's entrance was melodramatic. The white sheet that was covering the stage stayed up their band logo was projected onto it and in the background over the shouting and screaming from the crowd was a dramatic classical song. Then the bands instruments kicked in, it was like a bang of collective noise while the crowd was going ape shit. The opening song from SS was Mission Statement, a brilliant opening song to get the crowd going again. Half way through the set Corey Taylor brought out a gold album they received that day for "What(Ever) May Come". An emotional thank you to the crowd then moved onto them playing another emotional dedication to Paul Gray. Bother and one of their memorable songs Through Glass which had everyone singing along to. Again another brilliant band, one that I am definitely a fan of now.
Once SS left the stage a black sheet was dropped to cover the stage... Again. which also resulted in the crowd demanding for AS shouting "Sevenfold" for a good 3 minutes. Finally after making the crowd wait for what seemed like forever AS enter the stage to a roar of screaming fans. Unlike the previous bands everybody was up on their feet in on the balcony (Where I was seating, cause I'm hardcore like that). As soon as the beginning of Nightmare was played everyone was screaming and even more when the band members came on stage. The highlight of the night was when M.Shadows (Lead singer) Shouted "I can't stand to be this far away from you guys, Its fucking horrible. I'M COMING IN THERE!". Another good part was when he asked the crowd if anyone was religious and then shouted "God hates us" that led into their song named God Hates Us.
Overall the night was an orgy of emotions and almost a celebration of life. All 3 bands has suffered with band members suddenly dying and rumours of them not coming back.
Honestly I must have died and gone to heaven.
